These terms and conditions are valid from 3 January 2008.
Nordic Nannies only recruits au pairs and nannies and does not employ them.
It is vital for the recruitment process that the agency receives as much information about the family and the job as possible. The family is responsible for providing the agency accurate information on the application form.
There is no fee for submitting the application form to register as a client. The placement fee will become due as soon as the client has offered the job to a candidate that Nordic Nannies has recommended and the candidate has accepted. The candidate's travel arrangements cannot be made until the payment has been received. If the payment has not been received in 10 working days the agency may offer the candidate to another client.
Fees include VAT 22%.
If a candidate cancels after an initial acceptance, we will do our best to find a replacement as soon as possible. If we are unable to do so we will refund the placement fee. If the family cancels after a candidate has accepted an offer, the placement fee will be payable. Any non-recoverable travel expenses incurred by the candidate should be covered by the family.
We recommend including a probation period of four weeks in all contracts of employment.
If we are unable to provide a suitable replacement, we will refund 50% of the placement fee. If the family chooses not to accept the replacement, the placement fee will not be refunded.
Although Nordic Nannies introduces to the client only the candidates best suited for the job the agency cannot be responsible for the success of the placement. The family takes full responsibility for ensuring that the au pair or nanny placed with the family is aware of all responsibilities. Please note that au pairs are not qualified childcarers and should not have sole charge of children under three years of age.
